Reviews & Miscellaneous

I have published both with renowned British and international publishers such as Ashgate, Brill, Continuum, Rodopi, and Routledge and in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal for the Study of British Cultures, Humanities, Neo-Victorian Studies, and Victoriographies. As an associate editor of the online journal Neo-Victorian Studies, the reviews editor of the Journal for the Study of British Cultures and as a regular peer reviewer for various international journals and publishers I have established German and international networks.

At the same time I have always enjoyed cooperating with colleagues in my own department and in neighbouring fields: in Erlangen, I co-organised an interdisciplinary lecture series (“Phänomene der Fremdheit”, WS 2009/10), which was published as Phänomene der Fremdheit – Fremdheit als Phänomen (Würzburg 2012, with Simone Broders and Stephanie Waldow); I am an active member of the Interdisciplinary Centre Gender, Difference, Diversity; a symposium on early modern piracy, co-organised with Dr. Marcus Hartner (Bielefeld) in 2018, brought together scholars in British and American literature and culture as well as historians; and my second book project is situated within the interdisciplinary context of law and literature.
